08.30.2010 Adam & Ben Return to Planet Bluegrass for Mabon, Sept. 18
Come celebrate the end of summer, the fall harvest, and the Autumnal Equinox with Adam and Ben at Planet Bluegrass in Lyons, CO. This is the fourth annual Mabon Celebration with music from Adam and Ben.
If you feel like making a night out of it, camping is available for $10. Get your tickets and camping passes right HERE on Planet Bluegrass' site.
Mabon Feast:
New Belgium seasonal beers, wine, and hot and cold non-alcoholic drinks will be served all day beginning at 2pm. The Mabon Feast will be served from 5-8pm. This year's menu will be announced soon. All food and drink is cash only. But an ATM is located conveniently on the Planet Bluegrass grounds (in front of the bath house).
Mabon Camping-$10 per person - is available to spend the Saturday evening under the redstone cliffs on Planet Bluegrass, as the Mabon bonfire will likely go late into the night. Who knows... maybe we'll even spy a stray bagpiper wandering the Ranch as a reminder of the Mabons of yore. Tent camping is available for Saturday evening only. Camping is sold per-person not per-site. Only the front campground area closest to the Wildflower Pavilion will be used. No RVs or pop-up campers. The grounds open at 2pm for camping or Mabon revelry on the festival grounds. Campground closes at noon on Sunday, September 19. All campers must also purchase a ticket to the concert.

The Blind Boys' upcoming CD will be recorded in Nashville and, with this concert, audiences will hear some of this new music for the first time.

1. Come out to our show at The Tennessee Theatre on Saturday
2. Write your name in the snow... you're not gonna get too many chances to do this, Knoxvillians.
3. Dress Warmly. (you should've bought that yonder hoodie!)
4. Colorado called... they want their now back! Give it back, please.
5. Turn off all your electricity. You know, for practice.
6. Start the car now. Should be warm by tomorrow.
7. Make new friends with people who drive four wheel drives.

We regret to inform you that the show tonight has been postponed. Here's the official message from the DMB camp: Regretfully, the September 1st performance at USANA Amphitheatre in West Valley City, UT has been postponed due to doctor-diagnosed strain on Dave Matthews' vocal chords. We apologize for any inconvenience that this may cause. At this time all other performances will continue as scheduled. 08.21.2009 Santa Fe Show Moved to Santa Fe Brewing Company
Due to unforeseen circumstances at the Paolo Soleri Amphitheatre, the Yonder and Xavier Rudd show on August 29th will be moving locations to the Santa Fe Brewing Company. All tickets from the Paolo Soleri will be honored at the Santa Fe Brewing Company. Tickets are still available. NOTE, new show time is 6pm.

We’re pleased to announce our upcoming fall tour in support of our brand new record, The Show. The record will be released nationwide on September 1st (unless you pick it up early at Red Rocks on August 28th). We are also extremely excited that Danny Barnes will opening for us on the entire tour and that Darol Anger will be joining us in Milwaukee, Madison and Chicago.

Just wanted to send a note to everyone out there to say thank you so much for sending good thoughts to my wife and family. She's doing better and I'm hopeful things will be back to normal, but it will take time. She needs me right now to take care of her, the kids and the dogs. It bothered us deeply to have to cancel the February tour knowing full well that you were anticipating our start in 2009...we were, too. Every night we get on stage I am reminded why we continue forward and, ten years later, you guys still make it exciting for us. I know it's cliché to say, but we couldn't do it without you. Again, I can't thank you all enough for the continued support through it all. I'll see you in April. -Adam

Yonder has their big three-night New Year’s Eve run, including a sold-out show at the Ogden on Dec. 29th and two shows at the Pepsi Center with Widespread Panic on Dec.30th and 31st. A lot of fans have been clamoring for an additional Yonder show on the 28th, but unfortunately we couldn’t fulfill this request because the Cosmic Bowling League Featuring Darol Anger snuck in and booked the venue before we could. The last time this Cosmic Bowling League played Denver was back in 2002 and oddly enough a lot of Yonder fans really dug the show. The Yonder band members plan to attend this show to check out what all the hype is about and why someone as amazing as Darol would want to join them. The Cosmic Bowling League features: Vicky Beauweevil, Dickie S. Kaggs, Wookie and Hank franklin. Since it’s our hometown, we told these guys we’d help them spread the word about the show. Even though all reports indicate this band really sucks, we’ll be open-minded about it and try to give the Cosmic Bowling League the benefit of the doubt. Maybe we’ll see some of you there? It’ll be a nice warm up for the next three nights of Yonder.

To ring in 2009, Yonder will team up with Widespread Panic at the Pepsi Center in Denver on Dec. 30 and 31, and will host a very special evening with Yonder at the Ogden Theatre on Dec. 29th (only available with the purchase of a 2-day ticket to the Pepsi Center- details below).

This is the last day of the convention and Yonder will perform prior to Barack Obama’s highly-anticipated acceptance speech for the nomination. Other performers will include: Stevie Wonder, Sheryl Crow and Will I Am. This is the first convention to be held in Denver in one hundred years and Yonder is proud to be performing at such an historic event in their own community. The convention anticipates 75,000 people in attendance.

The Conscious Alliance will be hosting food drives at the Fillmore Auditorium in Denver, CO, December 29, 30, and 31. Robert Marx has created another amazing 3-PANEL Limited Edition poster. Patrons that donate 10 non-perishable food items will receive one panel. All 3 panels will be given for donations of 30 or more items. Last year we were able to raise nearly 1000 lbs. of food for the Metro Care Ring.
Donation bins will be located outside of the main entrance, where Conscious Alliance volunteers will trade poster redemption vouchers for your non-perishable donations. Posters can be redeemed at the Conscious Alliance table inside the Fillmore Auditorium at anytime during or after the show.

Ladies and Gentlemen we are proud and pleased to announce that Yonder will be officially celebrating their 1000th show at Simon Estes Amphitheater in Des Moines, IA on Friday, June 15. Yonder will continue to break new ground this Labor Day weekend at Red Rocks. Special guest drummer Jon Fishman of Phish will join Yonder during their show, which is a dream-come-true for the band. Yonder’s bassist Ben Kaufmann says “it’s not an exaggeration to say that Phish’s music inspired me to pursue a life making music of my own. The chance to play music with Jon Fishman, at Red Rocks no less is both a great honor and the fulfillment of a dream. He is without question my favorite drummer.”
In addition to Fishman, the line up also includes Mexican guitarists Rodrigo y Gabriela. Fusing Latin harmonies and rhythms with thrash metal on their acoustic guitars, Rod and Gab quickly rose to #1 on the charts in

03.19.2007 Kinfolk T-shirt design contest
Bust loose those design skills and create a killer Kinfolk T-shirt. There are no losers in this contest but the best designs will walk home with some cool prizes.

As we've done in the past with the "one-liner" tshirt contest a few years ago which Whitney Maxwell and PT won (Kinfolk'n A), we want Kinfolk to design a new tshirt that will be sold on the official YMSB store and possibly on tour!
Here are the terms of the competition:
1. Must be original work - no knockoffs (YMSB=ACDC, YONDER=WONDER), no rip-offs, no already done material. This can be a typography, iconography, drawings, paintings, and/or one-liners.
2. Submissions must be made by 3/25/2007.
3. Submissions must be made ELECTRONICALLY as a jpeg or pdf. Please email submission to orders@meistermusicmerch.com.
Judging:
YMSB, Management, and M4 will judge all submissions and decide on the winner(s).
1st Place -
Design will be featured on homepage of yondermountain.com
Your design will be printed onto an offical YMSB t-shirt and sold at the official store and possibly on tour

Indie Acoustic Project announces Yonder of "Best CDs of 2006" list
The Indie Acoustic Project announced the finalists for the IAP's "Best CDs of 2006" Awards. There are 3 finalists in each of 15 categories and Yonder was selected for the "Alt Country" catgegory.
Alt Country: Railroad Earth Elko (SCI); Sean Watkins Blinders On (Sugar Hill); Yonder Mountain String Band Yonder Mountain String Band (Vanguard).
