October 11-13, 2012 Mulberry Mountain – Ozark, AR
We’re only three short weeks away from this amazing fall getaway in the Ozarks of Arkansas. We can’t wait to see all of our Kinfolk family back on the mountain to witness this year’s unbelievable lineup. Prices will increase this Sunday, September 23, so please grab your Three Day Passes for Harvest Music Festival this week and save yourself a few bucks.
We always love coming to Harvest Fest since it’s always full of spectacular activities in addition to the music. This year is no different at The Roost Stage, boasting the Fiddlin’ & Pickin’ Contest on both Thursday & Friday, plus workshops featuring Jeff Austin and Ben Kaufmann on Saturday afternoon. There are also activities for the whole family, including Yoga and Meditation, Glass Blowing, Tie Dye booths, and the Vibe Tribe Kidz Kamp as well.
Come Play at the Second Annual Fiddlin’ and Pickin’ Contest!
Don’t miss your chance to compete in one of the four competitions being held at The Roost: Mandolin, Fiddle, Flatpicking, and Banjo. Prizes include cash money and gift baskets. Online Registrations are available in advance until 11:59PM Monday October 1st. Otherwise, registrations are accepted during the festival (at The Roost Stage) up to 15 minutes before the competition begins. Please remember that it is first come first served, so contests may fill up quick!
Jeff and Ben to host Harvest Fest Workshops
YMSB’s Harvest Music Festival is always looking to give its fans the opportunity to connect with artists on a more intimate level. This year Yonder Mountain’s very own Jeff Austin and Ben Kaufmann will each be taking time at The Roost Stage on Saturday to give you just that! Join Jeff at 12:00pm Saturday for a workshop on improvisational singing, then Ben at 1:00pm for a storytelling session – rock n roll style.
Jeff Austin – Saturday (10/13) 12:00-12:45pm “Creating Something out of Nothing: Experiments in Improvisation”
Ben Kaufmann – Saturday (10/13) 1:00-1:45pm “Nearly All of it’s True! Storytelling with Ben Kaufmann”
