12.30 Benefit for Planet Bluegrass

The disastrous flooding of the Front Range this past September effected so many of our friends, including longtime Yonder supporters Planet Bluegrass. We’ve had so many great things happen for us on the Ranch and at the Wildflower Pavilion that we’d like to share in their dedication to rebuild an important part of our history. We feel that it is only fitting that we support Planet Bluegrass in their efforts, helping out our brothers and sisters as they have done for Yonder Mountain for so many years. 100% of the proceeds from ticket sales of our December 30th benefit show at the Boulder Theatre will go towards helping Planet Bluegrass return to the exceptional place it once was.

In addition, our friends at The North Face will be on hand to lend support with an array of items for auction and raffle to raise even more money for Colorado flood relief. The North Face will be selling raffle tickets throughout the show for you to win TNF tents, jackets, and other apparel that you can take home after the show on December 30th. The silent auction includes a special autographed over-sized and framed original print by The North Face athlete Renan Ozturk, which will also be used as the show’s event poster. Also included are various other signed apparel and gear items used on global expeditions from The North Face Athlete Team. Never Stop Exploring.

Please join Yonder Mountain String Band and our guests from The North Face for an evening to support our local Colorado community. Tickets are $35 and will go on sale Friday November 8th at 10 AM MT via the Boulder Theatre Box Office.

12.30 Colorado Floods Benefit

Yonder Mountain String Band is proud to call Front Range Colorado home.  Without the support of the Colorado community, Yonder wouldn’t exist today.  In an effort to help out those impacted by the recent flooding of our home town, Yonder Mountain will host a benefit show at the Boulder Theater Monday December 30th.  100% of the proceeds from this event will go to help flood disaster victims and those most in need.

In addition, we will host a food & clothing drive each night during our NYE run December 27, 28, 29, & 31.  Full details on the December 30th benefit including ticketing and ways you can get involved will be released shortly, so stay tuned.

Our hearts and prayers go out to everyone affected by this flood.  Hang in there and be strong.

All our love,

Yonder Mountain String Band

Relief Fund for Planet Bluegrass

We wanted to let everyone know about a relief fund that has been started to benefit our good friends at Planet Bluegrass. On September 12th, Lyons, CO was hit with a disastrous flood. More than a foot of rain fell in many places on the Front Range of Colorado and widespread flooding has occurred. Unfortunately, Planet Bluegrass was directly in the path of a surging wall of water and has been heavily damaged. Please support them in rebuilding one of the most incredible venues on the planet.

David Lamb from brown bird needs your help

We just learned that our friend David Lamb from brown bird was admitted to the hospital with severe anemia and dangerously low red blood cell levels. You all have enjoyed the music of brown bird as they toured with us quite a bit over the last year, and we hope you will keep Dave in your thoughts. There is no diagnosis yet, but the expenses are already mounting and this fund has been created to help cover the costs:  www.youcaring.com/brownbird
